What is Therapeutic Massage?
Massage therapy is a comprehensive intervention involving a range of technique to manipulate the soft tissues and joint of body. The purpose of massage therapy is to prevent, develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function and relieve pain(Massage Therapy Act 1991). It is clinically – oriented health option that achieves undeniable results in the relief of an array of discomforts stemming from stress, muscular overuse and many chronic pain syndromes.
Massage therapy can benefit people of all ages. While it benefits the injured, the ill and the stressed, the strength of massage therapy is in preventing illness and conditions before they develop.

What is the difference in getting a massage from me at my private studio or at the clinic?
The main difference is the time, at the her private studio I am more flexible with timing. The total length of 1hr massage is 1hour 5minute (Where 5 minute is to complete papers/form, assessment/treatment protocol, changing time and 1 hour of massage time.) Where as at the physiotherapy clinic, the initial appointment time of 1 hour which includes assessment/treatment protocol, changing time and massage time).
What make my massage style different?
My massage treatment is based on sign/symptoms of a client’s health and treatment goal to improve client’s health.
It includes Swedish massage, some stretching or PNF(Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) and Myofascial release technique.
